Field Trip to the Titanic Exhibition
On September 24, the students from Queen of All Saints made a trip to the Titanic exhibit of Orlando. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip "to see the ship that drownded", as it was referred to by the Kindergarteners. The little ones entertained our tour guides with their countless questions, reverently touched the metal of the "floating palace", and competed to see which one of them could hold their fingers the longest to an actual iceberg. Although one of our third graders was skeptical of the sparkling, rust-free artifacts and expressed his doubts about their authenticity to our very amused guide, everyone managed to learn a good deal of history and have a wonderful time.
