Typing & Penmanship Club

The Typing & Penmanship Club challenges students to improve accuracy and speed in typing while also strengthening handwriting skills, including cursive. Members build focus and discipline through practice and enjoy friendly competitions that encourage progress and celebrate achievement.

The QAS Typing/penmanship Club is for online students in grades 5-12 looking to improve their cursive and typing skills. Meetings are on Thursdays, 3:45 – 4:30.

Terms & Conditions

The club activities are monitored and run by the club president who will be a teacher, high school student or alumni volunteer that exhibits leadership skills and experience in the given interest. Any student who is reported to be using improper language or indecent conversation will be removed from the club. A student who is failing in any given academic will be temporarily suspended from club activities until the academics are remedied. Clubs are initiated pending 4+ student sign-ups. Upon initiation, the club members will receive an invite in Canvas to join the club. Upon accepting invite, the student will have access to details for joining the club meetings.
