Equipment requirements

A reliable internet connection is essential for virtual learning.

Students must have access to high-speed broadband, whether wired or wireless (3G or 4G/LTE). A speed of 3 Mbps (up/down) is required for each student. For example, if there are four students in a family, a speed of 12 Mbps (up/down) would be necessary. This ensures smooth streaming of classes, downloading of materials, and effective communication with teachers and classmates.

We provide a comprehensive computer kit tailored for optimal online learning. This kit includes:

At the heart of the computer kit is the Mac Mini with an Apple M1 chip, ensuring fast and reliable performance. Managed through a JAMF School Management License, this system creates a secure, focused educational environment by restricting access to non-educational content, thus enhancing student productivity. Our equipment is replaced every four years to ensure students always have access to the latest and most effective technology.

The rental price is $290 per year. Every four years the computer and all accessories are replaced with a new kit. The computer is to be returned to the school at the end of four years. The accessories do not need to be returned.
