What does QAS Flex offer?
How is QAS Flex different from joining the classes live?
Will my child have a chance to form friendships if he is watching the classes on his own schedule?
Yes. QAS Flex students have a scheduled weekly meet-up with their teacher and peers. In addition, the Ultimate Package allows students to join up to three clubs. Each club meets weekly to work together on their projects.
What is the parent's role? Does the parent need to teach lessons or grade?
The teaching Sister is the primary educator and provides all content, instruction, and grading. However, the parent plays an important role in ensuring their child’s success.
-
Support and Motivation: Parents provide the motivational support needed for students to engage fully with their studies.
-
Environment Setup: It’s up to the parent to ensure that there is a conducive learning environment at home that is quiet and comfortable for study.
-
Schedule Management: While the program offers flexibility, parents help manage and oversee the student’s daily or weekly schedule to ensure that coursework is completed on time. For the QAS Flex student, the schedule is parent-driven.
What if my child is having trouble understanding concepts or keeping up with the course work?
Daily access to a virtual tutor ensures that parents have support on hand to help their children overcome academic challenges quickly.
