High School Early Modern World History/Early US History Online Course
Students will explore and discuss the period of history from 1500 to 1850. Beginning with the discovery of America, Luther’s Theses, and the Council of Trent, the student will analyze world events and their impact in the formation of the modern nations. Analysis of historical documents in class discussions and debates will lead students to think critically about important issues from the end of the medieval era to the late modern era. This course includes the first part of a half credit in United States history.
