Mother Mary Theresa was one of the first students and graduates of Queen of All Saints Academy. She joined the Sisters of St. Thomas Aquinas in 2005 to begin her novitiate and training as a teaching Sister. The special object of the Sisters of St. Thomas Aquinas is to assist in the preservation and propagation of the Faith in these troubled times through the Catholic education of the youth. For this work of training youth, the Sisters are prepared academically so as to be qualified to teach in both the elementary and higher levels of education. But the formation of the intellect is useless without a strong spiritual life. The Sisters of St. Thomas Aquinas must become instruments of grace for their children. To this purpose, the religious Sister devotes herself ardently to acquiring religious perfection and virtue during the time of her novitiate. Inseparably united to Jesus Christ the source of light and virtue, she will be prepared, in turn, to communicate it to others. Queen of All Saints Academy has been blessed to have Mother Mary Theresa as a teacher, administrator, and finally Principal over the past 17 years.

In 2017, Mother Mary Theresa pioneered the virtual program. She designed the classroom infrastructure and developed the school software that allows remote learners to engage in the campus classroom.

This same year, after much planning and design, Mother launched the construction of the Sisters’ motherhouse in order to provide for the rapid growth of the Congregation. Thanks to the support and generosity of our devoted parishioners and benefactors, the Sisters now occupy the convent cloister while the chapel is being completed in the Gothic style.

During this the building project , the students outgrew the original school campus. Mother Mary Theresa is overseeing the move to the property adjacent to the motherhouse. This beautiful property and its facilities provide a large chapel and ample classrooms for the needs of our students.

Mother Mary Theresa is Mother General of the Congregation and Director of Queen of All Saints Academy. She leads the Sisters in forming the next generation of leaders as pillars of goodness and truth.

We are excited to introduce Father DeSaye as a faculty member at Queen of All Saints Academy.

Father DeSaye completed his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Ithaca College and worked as a professional musician and music teacher. He studied philosophy at the Catholic University of America and earned a Master of Divinity at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Maryland.

Father DeSaye served as a teacher on the faculty of Delbarton School for two years. He was ordained to the priesthood by Most Reverend Bishop Donald Sanborn in Brooksville, Florida, in 2022. Father serves as a high school teacher and head of the Boys’ Choir at Queen of All Saints Academy.

Father Larrabee was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. After completing high school, he attended the University of California at Berkeley, receiving a B.A. with honors in Latin and Greek. Upon graduation, he entered Most Holy Trinity Seminary in the fall of 2003, being ordained in 2009. After ordination, he served as Assistant Pastor at St. Gertrude the Great Church in Ohio for three years, returning to California in 2012. Since then he has been the assistant parish priest at St. John Bosco Church in Modesto, California. Fr. Larrabee assists the Sisters with our California satellite campus and teaches for Queen of All Saints Academy.

Father Barnes graduated from St. Thomas Academy in 2017. He attended Lawrence Technological University before joining Most Holy Trinity Seminary in 2018.

Having been an altar boy since the age of seven, Father Barnes fulfilled the role of Master of Ceremonies while completing his seminary studies. He trained the altar servers and wrote comprehensive notes for the regular ceremonies in the Roman rite. With his knowledge of programming and networking, he managed several websites, built and managed the livestream for Most Holy Trinity Seminary, and ran the video editing for the sermons and recorded classes of Roman Catholic Media.

Father Barnes was ordained to the priesthood in June 2022 by Most Reverend Bishop Donald Sanborn. We are excited to have Father join our faculty at Queen of All Saints Academy as a high school teacher and Dean of High School Boys.

Julio Rendon is an experienced Catholic school teacher of 15 years, including 5 years in administration. He received his Bachelors of Arts at Florida Atlantic University and his Masters in Education at Ashland University, where he also completed the Teaching Licensure Program PK-12: Spanish.

​Mr. Rendon taught Spanish and history at St. Brendan School in Ohio for eight years, followed by three years as Principal at St. Francis Xavier School where he introduced and implemented programs for student growth in both literacy and virtue. In 2016, he and his family of six relocated to Naples, Florida where he taught Latin and acted as Dean of students at Royal Palm Academy for three years before enrolling his children in Queen of All Saints Academy and relocating to Brooksville.

Being a native Spanish speaker from Medellin, Colombia, Mr. Rendon teaches high school Spanish at Queen of All Saints Academy. He also assists in many areas of administration where his experience and expertise have proved a blessing. We are very grateful to have Mr. Rendon on our faculty.

Jacqueline Sonara holds a Bachelors in Spanish Language & Literature as well as a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the Florida Atlantic University. Jacqueline has sixteen years of teaching experience at SouthTech Academy as the English Instructor and Instructional Reading Coach. She received multiple awards for her dedication as an educator, including the FCPN Best Practice Award, Voya Unsung Hero Award, the My Teacher My Hero Award, and the CTE Makeover Challenge. Jacqueline is a devoted traditional Catholic. She assists the Sisters with curriculum development, helping us align Catholic values with the highest academic standards. The Sisters are thankful to have her on our faculty as the high school Spanish and English instructor.

Thomas Walz is a former graduate of Queen of All Saints Academy. During Thomas’s sophomore year, he decided to pursue a career in computer engineering, and began working part-time in the school’s IT Department. For the next two year’s of his high school, Thomas thoroughly learned the school’s systems and helped develop the improved tech package for online students. He also installed the infrastructure for the school’s microphone system. During his senior year, Thomas completed several elective courses in computer science, learning HTML and CSS. Thomas is now employed full-time as the school’s IT assistant as he continues to pursue an online degree in computer engineering.

Mrs. Marques was a dental hygienist until she became a stay-at-home mother of six. She assisted her husband with the family business for several years before enrolling her own children at Queen of All Saints Academy and volunteering as a monitor and assistant. She is now the full-time registrar and admissions assistant. She also assists with the school infirmary where she is a favorite among the children. Her generosity and kindness to the school is much appreciated by students and Sisters.

Julia Walz is a former graduate of Queen of All Saints Academy where she completed her piano studies at Queen of All Saints Conservatory of Music. She is continuing her piano studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music under Dr. Judith Jain where she won first prize in the International Red Maple Music Competition. Julia has been teaching piano at Queen of All Saints for four years. She taught elementary beginning in 2019 under the direction of Sister Mary Francis and is now a homeroom teacher for high school.

Jazzelyn Puga is a former graduate of Queen of All Saints Academy. The summer following her graduation, Jazzelyn was hired by Queen of All Saints to help with school administration, while pursuing an online degree in business administration. She is now a teacher’s assistant for middle school math and has various admin jobs as well.

Olivia Halm is a former graduate of Queen of All Saints Academy where she completed her piano studies at Queen of All Saints Conservatory of Music. She recently participated as a finalist in Lee University’s 16th annual International Piano Festival. She is currently continuing her piano studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Olivia has a passion for music and a talent for teaching children.

A highly motivated individual with a strong academic background in Information Technology and Education.

With a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Teaching, and a Master of Arts in Education Management currently underway, he is well-equipped to bridge the gap between technology and education.

Passionate about harnessing technology to optimize project management and organizational processes, he leverages his experience as a former teacher in systems analysis and design, computer graphics, leadership, and community service.

Gabriella McAllister is a former graduate of Queen of All Saints Academy. During her senior year at QAS, Gabriella chose to pursue a teaching career, and began assisting with the school clubs organization and planning. Gabriella graduated with the highest ACT score in her class, earning the Bright Futures Scholarship. While pursuing her teaching degree, Gabriella acted as the First Grade Assistant for one year and now teaches second grade.

Birsa Munoz is a former graduate of Queen of All Saints Academy. The summer following her graduation, Birsa was hired by Queen of All Saints to help with school administration, while pursuing an online degree in education. Since that summer, she has been invaluable at QAS, and now teaches Kindergarten under the direction of Sister Mary Francis. She is devoted to the development of virtue and discipline in the little ones, with whom she is a favorite.
